Eden Valley wineries
The Eden Valley lies higher, between 219 and 632 metres, and has 2,101 hectares of vines (Wine Australia). Riesling was first planted here in 1847, at Pewsey Vale, and rocky soils, altitude and a long, cool ripening season give dry, mineral Rieslings built to age (Barossa Australia).
