Traisental.

One of Austria’s youngest and smallest wine areas, in its present form only since 1995: gentle hills and small terraced vineyards along the Traisen river south of the Danube, around Traismauer, Nußdorf, Reichersdorf, Inzersdorf and Herzogenburg. More than 60% of the vines are Grüner Veltliner, and since the 2006 vintage Grüner Veltliner and Riesling carry Traisental DAC.
