Lower Long Tom wineries
The Lower Long Tom AVA, established in 2021, lies on the west side of the Lower Long Tom watershed between Corvallis and Eugene. The vineyards are on ridges running east to west, mostly on shallow Bellpine clay loam over ancient marine sandstone, and the Coast Range to the west gives a rain shadow with less disease pressure. Pinot noir is the main grape, alongside Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot gris and Sauvignon blanc.
