Diamond Mountain District wineries
Diamond Mountain District takes its name from the shards of volcanic glass in its ash-like soil. At about 120 to 670 metres it has lower daytime highs (about 32 °C) and warmer nights than the valley floor. Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc are the main grapes.
