V Yountville je vůbec první vinice Napa Valley, kterou v roce 1836 vysadil George Calvert Yount. Ve výšce asi 6 až 60 metrů má mírné klima s chladnými mlhavými rány a vánkem od San Pablo Bay, na štěrkovitých prachovitých hlínách a naplaveninách. Hlavními odrůdami jsou Cabernet Sauvignon a Merlot.
